Golf in the heart of Blackpool, Stanley Park Golf Course offers the chance to play an Alister MacKenzie design, a man famed for his design of Augusta National, home of the Masters Tournament. It is even said that a group of holes at Stanley Park are loosely based on Amen Corner!!
As you might expect with a top class design, the course is intricate and challenging with a variety of natural hazards. Add to that a variety of long and short Par 4's, with some tricky Par 3's and Stanley Park becomes a great test for all levels of golfer.
In the last 12 months we have made significant changes, the greens particularly have seen a dramatic improvement.
Stanley Park Golf Course has something for everyone, a testing golf course steeped in rich history, but also a progression welcoming new golfers, beginners and youngsters. We're building a new generation of golfers in Blackpool, and we'd love for you to become part of it!

Good day everyone.
Well I have to say that this time of the year is the best, as our entire seasonal work takes place for developments and improvements to the course. We actually have a 3 year seasonal work schedule with this year’s focus on greens and tees in particular. At the moment verti-draining is taking place and some greens are having additional drainage work where needed. The 5th green has been completed now, putting into place some drainage which will be just one element in getting it to a better condition – I have to say it looks great already.
It’s well known around the Fylde that Stanley Park has a thriving ladies section which we love seeing develop year on year with plenty of ladies taking up the game. I’m pleased to say that our refurbishment for the ladies 6th tee will take place early January. New ladies are always welcome at Stanley Park.
The pride and joy of November was our annual junior presentation which this year was a great success. 79 juniors turned up with their families and friends, receiving their trophies and well wishes for next season. An absolutely fantastic day on the whole and I can’t wait for next year.
