Junior Golf
Building the next generation of golfers is our passion. As a result, our commitment to Junior Golf is unprecedented.
Central to our company ethos is making the game of golf accessible to all those who may not normally have the opportunity to play. Over recent years we have supported The Empowering Youth Foundation Charity, who introduce golf for all, life skills and coaching at an extremely low cost.
Many of our facilities feature dedicated short game areas perfect for youngsters to be introduced to the game. We have also paved a way forward through our Junior Academies, and all of our courses offer free membership upon successful completion of the programme. In 2011, we have our commitment by offering to pay for new Junior Members to become affiliated with the English Golfing Union and the English Womens Golf Association.
Our coaches use the principles of The First Tee, a concept developed in the United States extracting life skills from golf and incorporating them into a fun programme. We have found this structured approach to learning and enjoyment captivates the imagination and the focus of the youngsters; and has a positive impact on all those involved.
We welcome Juniors on our Golf Courses, and have made it accessible for them to do so. Families are also welcome should they wish to provide support by playing or even watching (or caddying!)
We believe that Golf is all about enjoyment and should not be restricted to those who can afford it. We continue to be at the forefront, pushing boundaries and getting more youngsters interested and succeeding in the game of golf.
