Located just 3½ miles North of Manchester City Centre, Heaton Park Golf Centre boasts an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, a Par 3 Pitch & Putt Course, ideal for beginners and seasoned players alike, all complemented by our dedicated First Tee Junior Training Academy.
The Championship parkland Golf Course was designed by 5-time legendary Open Champion J.H.Taylor and soon to celebrate its centenary in 2012, the course has never looked better. Several holes allow golfers to take in the panoramic views of the Manchester skyline and the Pennines, whilst in full bloom the course becomes truly breathtaking.
The signature Par 3 11th has been touted as one of the toughest holes in England by golfing legend Henry Cotton, and certainly takes some mastering.
Heaton Park Golf Centre provides a warm, friendly environment, making it the ideal venue for societies, groups, and general pay and play customers. Heaton Park’s Championship Course really is a must play.
For youngsters & beginners, the Par 3 course is the ideal place to get a feel for the game and work your way up to the Championship Course. Youngsters are also encouraged to enquire about the regular First Tee Coaching Sessions which are run at our dedicated on-site Academy.

Welcome to the latest blog from Heaton Park Golf Centre.
If you were watching The Masters in early April, you will have no doubt seen that magnificent Albatross by Louis Oosthuizen on the 2nd hole on the final day.
Shots like this are what we all dream about and certainly send us back onto the golf course with a heightened sense of optimism!
Sadly, the Mancunian April has not quite managed the usual spring type temperatures, and has seen snow, hail, heavy showers and just about every other weather condition imaginable, however that has not stopped many of you stepping out onto the first tee.
We have set record figures for online bookings in March, so I was very pleased to see so many of you gaining the discounts available through our website.
Next month will see even better value through this easy method, so don’t miss out and take advantage now. If you turn up at the Golf Centre without a booking we can’t guarantee you’ll get the time you want; if you book online, we can! Simple.
Thanks to all that took part in our Open Day on Friday 30th March. It was a great day and everyone present had a wonderful time, including The Lord Mayor of Manchester, who kindly opened the proceedings for us. Congratulations to all the winners of the raffle, which saw some fantastic prizes shared around. The day raised £250.00 for The First Tee of Manchester, which will benefit local children learning invaluable life skills through the medium of golf.
We are now preparing for our Centenary celebrations shortly and the Golf Club have now announced the date for The Centenary Open which will be on Wednesday 20th June 2012.
