Located just 3½ miles North of Manchester City Centre, Heaton Park Golf Centre boasts an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course, a Par 3 Pitch & Putt Course, ideal for beginners and seasoned players alike, all complemented by our dedicated First Tee Junior Training Academy.
The Championship parkland Golf Course was designed by 5-time legendary Open Champion J.H.Taylor and soon to celebrate its centenary in 2012, the course has never looked better. Several holes allow golfers to take in the panoramic views of the Manchester skyline and the Pennines, whilst in full bloom the course becomes truly breathtaking.
The signature Par 3 11th has been touted as one of the toughest holes in England by golfing legend Henry Cotton, and certainly takes some mastering.
Heaton Park Golf Centre provides a warm, friendly environment, making it the ideal venue for societies, groups, and general pay and play customers. Heaton Park’s Championship Course really is a must play.
For youngsters & beginners, the Par 3 course is the ideal place to get a feel for the game and work your way up to the Championship Course. Youngsters are also encouraged to enquire about the regular First Tee Coaching Sessions which are run at our dedicated on-site Academy.

Welcome to the latest blog from Heaton Park Golf Centre.
May I start this blog with heartfelt thanks for all the kind comments about the course over the past few months. The greens in particular have come in for a great deal of praise, with many visiting players and professionals stating that they are in better condition than a large number of golf courses they have visited during the year.
As I personally play all over the North of England, Wales and more recently Scotland, I have felt a sense of pride myself, as few courses have lived up to the quality I see when playing here at Heaton Park, and for a fraction of the price in some cases.
Our greenkeeping team at Heaton have recently completed an upgrade on the bunkers, and with the new ride-on bunker rake, we will endeavour to keep these in tip-top condition.
As you probably know, Heaton Park is one of the very few courses that is playable all year round due to the exceptional drainage, so with our new twilight rate being in operation from 12pm all week, why not take advantage and play a few holes from just £10.00.
Our 2012 Season Tickets are also now on sale with new customers receiving November and December 2011 completely free if they purchase now. All customers purchasing a season ticket before 31st December 2011 will be entered into a draw to win a free Season Ticket for 2013, so there is plenty to be gained, and as they say, you have to be in it to win it!
